About Us

About the Colorado Bipolar
Education (CoBE) Project

Together with the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Depression Center, the CoBE Team
at the University of Colorado Anschutz strives to improve the lives of people with
bipolar disorder through clinical excellence, innovative research, community
programs, and education.
Statement of Need
There is a fundamental need for education in the treatment of bipolar
disorder: Education for patients and families about the illness; and
education for therapists on the most effective and most evidenced-
based psychosocial treatments.
Our Vision
The CoBE project is an innovative bipolar educational program that
enhances the understanding of bipolar disorder and its treatment. We
aim to provide evidenced-based information to patients, families,
therapists, and clinicians to improve the care for patients and families
suffering from this illness.

Thank You to Our Donors

We would like to thank Walt and Sue Rakowich for partnering with us to create CoBE.
Without them none of this would be possible.

We would also like to thank our other benefactors who have supported this important
initiative, including the Mandarich Family Foundation, Antoinette L. Anker, Ph.D., and
Alexander Ringsby.
